GRC-SPE Virtual Workshop: High-Temperature Well Cementing and Integrity - Exploring Geothermal and Oil and Gas Synergies

The Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) are joining forces for the second year in a row to co-host a special two-part workshop on High-Temperature Well Cementing and Integrity.

Part I of this workshop will be held virtually, on September 14 - 16, 2020. Part I’s new virtual experience opens the world of geothermal up to a wider range of industry professionals who can now attend the workshop without having to leave their home or office. The in-depth workshop will share the latest technical innovations, advancements, and best practices in geothermal. All sessions are designed to maximize the exchange of information and ideas between attendees and presenters through technical presentations followed by interactive Q&A periods. In addition, the GRC and SPE partnership provides a unique opportunity enabling both industries to share their experiences, technologies, technical procedures and best practices on this important aspect of well completion.
